It's our first year in a home with a yard. Now I have a yard! A whole yard with lots of grass. Yeah, just grass. That's all I got. Grass and a few trees and bushes. As the weather warms, I'm coming to realize how much work there is to be done. Every day I find something new that needs planting, pruning, trimming or weeding.
What I'm looking forward to the most is making my own garden getaway. I'm looking forward to lots of colourful flowers, kitchen herbs and one cozy backyard nook.
