it's in the details

The wedding arrangements are coming along swimmingly. When I first started planning this thing, I was freaking out a little. You hear so many horrible things about planning weddings; that they it's crazy and hectic. And that by the time the wedding rolled around, I would be so uptight I would turn in to some kind of monstrosity that would stomp around the city - people would have to hide their children and barricade their doors to protect themselves from the destruction I would wreak.

Yeah. It's really not that bad.

Most of the major things are picked out and I feel like I got a pretty good handle on things. It gets a little confuddled with the details. Those personal touches are not a necessity, but they really help make a wedding memorable.

There are a lot of things I want to do - there are a lot of things I probably won't do as we do have a budget to follow, albeit loosely.

I have a lot of ideas floating around. Here are some of the things that are at the top of my priorities:

a DIY photobooth...
and a snazzy sign to direct the guests
Disposable cameras for the table
the perfect cake topper
find the perfect wedding favour
a themed candy bar
There's a lot of work to be done. I need to get shopping!
