The bathroom in our new place leaves much to be desired. Frankly, it's awful. I was browsing through my various pics I saved from my Internet wanderings, and found a few that inspired some ideas.
Do you notice a them emerging? Tiles and the colour blue, perhaps? I especially love the second to last pool-inspired bathroom - funky. The verdict: Charcoal, and blue mosaic tiles. And I'd die for a tiled inset shelf like this one:
