I swear, I'm trying to be less sporadic with my blogging. Sometimes life just gets in the way.
Yes, a blog can be used to document your life, but as mine became fuller of wonderfully exciting news to blog about, I became increasingly busier with all the changes. But now, I'm back and I intend to use this blog to the best of my ability to organize all my aforementioned projects.
First things first, the news:
As I have previously mentioned, Rob and I have found ourselves a little home to call our own. It's a fixer upper, and while it's a lot of work, it's totally worth it! Most of my evenings have been dedicated to Ikea runs, Home Depot visits, much-needed grocery shopping and frenzied drives to the dollar store; my weekends have been gobbled up by all the cleaning and unpacking. Now I know why it's an absolute must to take a week or two off when moving. And soon the renovations will begin, and I'm sure that will be a whole new type of adventure!

The other reason for my impromptu absence is that we are so very, very ENGAGED! I can't wait to start planning the wedding and all the extra parties that entails, but we've been so busy with the house that we haven't had much time to really get into the whole thing. But I already have a good many ideas brewing. Can't wait to start sharing it all with you guys!
