I think the colourful striped socks not only ties in well with a rainbow wedding, but it gives the guys a chance to show some personality, and be a little silly. Works out because husband-to-be (or rather, fiancé-to-be) has a thing for striped socks.
And to tie the whole thing back to the girls... matching ties to the groom's bridesmaid's dress (did I say that right?)

And I hadn't thought of it before, but I love the suspenders for the groomsmen! I'm surprised it never occurred to me because I do love suspenders.
