Work was giving box tickets away for Bon Jovi this week. 6 tickets to be exact. I didn't win. A friend did and gave her ticket to someone else (someone who isn't even a fan, but just "enjoys a show"- no comment)
Then a last minute ticket was made available. We were three in the draw and I was absolutely positive that this ticket was mine. I was bummed to have missed out and all of a sudden, as if a message from the PTB, BOOM! TICKET!! This was my good karma coming back. We were three in the draw. At four o'clock, I was waiting at my desk for someone to come bring me my ticket, around 4:20, I started thinking they forgot about me.
Clearly, the PTB have quite the sense of humor and my ticket went to another friend; quite the girl's night out. But I'm not here to complain. I'm here to pay homage to Bon Jovi.
