Following my post about Penny's room (from The Big Bang Theory), I started wondering about mixing patterns. Like I mentioned, I'm reluctant to mix patterns because, let's face it, I'm no interior designer and I have no artistic inclination. My attempts to do something original usually turns into a fiasco - a strenuous and expensive fiasco.
But I can't help myself. Now that I've explored the wonderful world of colourful textiles and funky prints that brighten a room and give it some personality, I want more!
I came across Svenskt Tenn on my wanderings. While I can't even attempt to pronounce the name, I do love the shop, especially the wallpaper. I'm not really into wallpaper. It looks great, but it's a mess when you want it gone. Trust me, my parents decorated in the 70's and steaming that retro wallpaper was the task from hell! So unless they've come along in the advancement of wallpaper technology, count me out. But that won't stop me from admiring the vivid collection.
Luckily, Svenskt Tenn didn't limit themselves to wallpaper. They have textiles, accessories, kitchen ware, furniture...
Ok. I could keep showing all the awesome stuff, but I won't. Needless to say, I want everything!
